BIOGRAPHY BİYOGRAFİ
He was born in 1975 in Adana. He has completed his education of Primary, Secondary and High School within Adana in the meantime where he has also studied music from a young age.
He started his composing career within High School, he has composed his first song called “Annem” and he has gained a first place of the contest that the Conservatoire of Aegean University Izmir has held in 1993, this was the first time a student has passed a contest and succeeded a place within the University’s Conservatoire.
He started studying music within the academic environment within University. While he was studying at University, he has found The Choir of Aegean University Medical Faculty which he has conducted until 1996.
1996: He won a contest that TRT (Turkish Radio and TV) has held during the same year he has composed the song “Elveda” a poem who was written by World Famous Turkish Artist “Zeki Muren”.
1997: He won the Golden Award from T.E.V.(Turkish Education Association) and TSK (Turkish Military Association).
1998-2000: Between the years 1998-2000, he has found the Choir of Istanbul Beykoz Municipality.
2000-2002: Between the years 2000-2002, he was the soloist and supervisor of a Turkish Music Company.
He moved to London where he still lives in since then.
He has found a few Amateur Music Choirs in London which opened a new perspective in Turkish Music in the UK.
He has performed as a soloist a few times within Turkish Festivals held in London.
2006: He gave a solo performance within the British Museum for World Peace Organisations.
2007: He performed with numerous British Artists in BBC’s Music Projects.
2008-2010: He represented Turkey in Muslim Countries Music Festivals held in the City Of Oxford.
2011: He has produced his music album “Sen Kal Buralarda” and produced its video.
2010-2011-2012: He has held the title: Music Director and the Coordinator for TRT Music Channel for a Documentary in which he has helped a number of British musicians introduced in Turkey as well as helped Turkish Music and culture to be heard within the UK. He has taken part in musical projects and studies within the University of Oxford.
2012: He has received letters of Appreciation from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for his success in Turkish and British music and in both cultures.
Sancar’s Music career has been filmed and given part within a Music Documentary that was broadcasted on TRT Music TV Channel.
He has been granted important Music awards by Turkish Music Authorities and he owns numerous compositions, songs and poems.
2016-2017, He was working for the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Sanatçı 1975 yılında Adana'da doğdu.İlk,orta ve lise yılları boyunca okul eğitiminin yanı sıra,Adana’da müzik eğitimini de beraberinde sürdürdü.
Lise dönemlerinde besteciliğe başlayan Sancar, o dönemlerde ilk olarak söz ve müziği kendisine ait "Annem" isimli şarkısını yazdı ve bu şarkısı ile ;
1993 yılında Ege Üniversitesi Devlet Türk Müziği Konservatuvarı sınavını kazandı.Bu okul tarihinde bir ilkti,bununla beraber müzik çalışmalarını akademik bir çerçeveye taşımış oldu.Aynı yıl İzmir E.Ü. Tıp Fakültesi TSM Korosu'nu kurdu. 1996 yılına kadar,bu koronun şefliğini yaptı.
1996 yılında yazdığı sözleri Zeki Müren'e, bestesi kendisine ait "Elveda" isimli şarkısı ile Zeki Müren’in varisleri olan vakıflarca;
1997 yılında T.S.K.M.V ( Türk Silahlı Kuvvetler Mehmetçik Vakfı ) Altın Plaket Ödülü ve T.E.V ( Türk Eğitim Vakfı ) Şilt ödüllerine layık görüldü.
1998-2000 yılları arasında İstanbul Beykoz Belediyesi Kültür Başkanlığı Korosu nu kurdu ve Şeflik gorevini yaptı.
2000-2002 Yıllarında bir Plak şirketinin Solistliği ve Süpervizörlüğü’nde bulundu.
Daha sonra İngiltere'nin başkenti Londra'ya yerleşti.
2005 yılında amatör korolar faaliyetleri başlatarak kültürümüzün İngiltere’de yaygınlaşmasına katkı sağladı.
Aynı yıl Londra Türk Festivali'ne Solist olarak katıldı.
2006 yılında dünyaca tanınmış ünlü British Museum'da dünya barışı için solo konser verdi.
2007 yılında İngiltere'nin tanınmış bazı Caz Müziği Sanatçılarıyla BBC Televizyonu için ortak çalışmalar yaptı.
2008-2010 İngiltere'nin Oxford şehrinde her yıl düzenlenen Müslüman Devletler Müzik Festivali'nde Türkiye’yi başarılı bir şekilde temsil etti.
2011 yılında “Sen Kal Buralarda” isimli albümünü ve klibini yaptı.
2010-2011-2012 yılları TRT Müzik Kanalı için yurt dışında Belgesel Programı Müzik Direktörlüğü ve Program Koordinatörlüğü yaptı. Oxford Üniversitesi, Cambridge Üniversitesi ve Trinity College’ de Türk Müziği adına çekimler yaptı.
2012-2013 : İngiltere Kraliçesi II. Elizabeth tarafından taltif ve teşekkür mektupları aldı.
2014 Gönülden Üsküdar- Emotions Of Uskudar Albümünü ve kliplerini yaptı
2016-2017, Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığında görev yaptı.
Türkiye’nin yakın tarihindeki en büyük besteci ve sanat adamlarıyla çalışmış olan Suat Sancar’ın,İngiltere'deki faaliyetleri ve sanat hayatı Devlet Televizyonu TRT'de Belgesel Programı’nda yayınlanmıştır.
Sanatçı çok sayıda ödülün de sahibidir.
